How to Create and Share Drills


Drill Planner is an intuitive web tool for creating, organizing, and sharing custom training drills — visually and interactively.

✍️ Note: Drill creation currently works best on desktop and/or tablets. Editing on mobile is not yet supported.


1. Choose a Pitch Type

Select the right pitch for your drill from a growing set of predefined pitch layouts.

  • Over 10 pitch types, from full fields to small training grids.
  • Each pitch is scaled and styled for clarity.

2. Design the Drill

Build your drill visually using the drag-and-drop editor.

  • Add players, cones, balls, runs, and text with a single click.
  • Drag and drop elements to position them on the pitch.
  • Choose from built-in line styles — pass/shoot, run, dribble — or use a custom line for more flexibility.
  • Customize player colors, labels, and layer order.

3. Add Instructions and Details

Drill Details

Explain the purpose and flow of your drill. Use visual editor to format the text.

Include:

  • Preparations: Pitch size, players, and equipment.
  • Instructions: Step-by-step logic and objectives.
  • Coaching Points: Explain the coaching points and instructions to the players.
  • Progression: Variations or difficulty levels.

4. Add Meta Information

Help others find and understand your drill.

  • Title: Name it clearly.
  • Reference: (Optional) Link to a video or external resource.
  • Language: Set a language for international sharing.
  • Created and updated timestamps are tracked automatically.

5. Save and Share

Keep your drill private or share it publicly.

  • Click Save to add it to your library.
  • Share a direct link.
  • Download an image version for printing or offline use.

6. View Anywhere

Share Drills

Access your drills on any device — during training, review, or prep.

  • Pull up instructions and visuals instantly.
  • Go paperless — everything’s in your pocket.
